Things To Do In Maui

This is my 2nd time in Maui and I absolutely fell in LOVE with Maui. Here is why..

10 Days in Paradise

was so magical I treasured every minute just soaking up the sun and absolutely beauty the island had to offer. If there was a place I could say was heaven on earth it would be Napili Bay, in Maui. The beaches are just magical with perfect turquoise clear water.

The first 4 days we just enjoyed the beach at Napili Bay.

We sat every day under the side of the cliff to get shade from the warm sun. Though out the day we would snorkel and see all the amazing colorful tropical fish. My favorite fish is the little mini puffer fish’s. Every once in a while you’ll see one pop in and out in between the rocks. Their little dots have this iridescent glow to them. So beautiful!

The Most Amazing Part By Far..

was swimming with the sea turtles. Here’s a video I took on my GoPro. Every chance I got I would get in the water and swim with him for hours. They’re such a majestic creature so gentle the way they sway back-and-forth from the current in the water. my favorite was this one that’s seen in the video below. She was pretty small little sea turtle. She came up to me a couple times and I was looking straight in my eyes. She didn’t seem scared at all and was just trying to get her daily meal in. In the video the water is a little rough but it’s because she is eating the seaweed off the rocks right off the surf break. It was really hard not to get super close to her because the water kept pushing us into each other.

One Day

we went to the bay next door to Napili Bay, which is called Kapalua Bay, right by the Montage Hotel. Which is one of the most expensive hotels on the island I think the rooms range from $1700 a night to $5000 a night. Crazy because it’s not even right on the water.

My point to the story is that we went snorkeling on the spay and we saw three huge turtles. I got pretty close to them when they were swimming so close to the rocks and I have to say I do get scared for a minute because they’re so massive… I thought they might bite me but they’re just gentle creatures. They just really are looking to eat their food and swim right around you to get to where they need to go. And there were no a lot of tropical fish on the side of the either. I love staying on Napili Bay just because our condo was right there beach front right on the sand.
